Christmas Cards, Winter

Be cool, be chill, be merry…

Happy Tuesday!

One of my favorite things is to create backgrounds, blending ink. I feel that the ned result is always striking and takes a card to a new leve. I am new to Stampin’Up so I am taking my time to get to know their products. Today I started playing with ink blending. This cards was created using the classic ink pads in Coastal Cabana and Gorgeous Grape. I started with the gorgeous grape at the top using circular motion and then used the Coastal Cabana in the lower part, until they ”met” and worked on blending them. I dried the piece of paper a little and them embossed some beautiful stars in white. I also, splashed a little bit of watered white paint, to creat some more texture. I really think the end result is just stunning.

Both, the penguin and bear belong to a Designer Paper called Penguin Playmates. This paper has the cutest winter critters. I just fuzzy cut the bear and the penguin and ready.

Here is a look at the inside…

Let me know what you think.
