Fun fold

A tri-fold card you don’t want to miss

Welcome crafters!

Our project today is a Tri-fold card. This card when closed is 6’ x 6”, but I promise it is worth sending to family or friends.

For this card I used the gorgeous Suite called You’re a Peach. The whole suite is just happy and reminds me of summer, with its vibrant colors. The stamp and dies set is called Sweet as a Peach and you definitely don’t want to miss them.

Like I mentioned before, this card folds into a 6’x6” and will look like this.

You will need:

  1. Cardstock in  Mossy Meadow 6” x 10”
  2. Designer Series Paper x2: 3-7/8’ x 5-7/8.
  3. Designer Series Paper x 2: 3/8’ x 3-/7/8”
  4. Designer Series Paper x 2: 1-7/8 x 3/8”
  5. Designer Series Paper x1: 3-/7/8’ x 3-3/8″

See this template, for specific instruction on how to score and cut the cardstock.

The trick to this card is working on it slowly and with time. The first 2 pieces of the designer series paper have to be cut differently. The first one like this:

And the second one like this:

Here is another card I made using the Peaceful Deer stamp set and the Classic Cloche stamp and dies bundle.

Halloween card

Happy National Card day!!!

Let’s play with some Stampin’Up Halloween goodies.

Today is the day we celebrate enjoying creativity and making others happy, because isn’t it what happens when you give someone a beautiful handmade cards?

I made yesterday a super funny tri-fold card. It’s Halloween themed and I think any one who get this one, will feel loved.

This card uses all Stampin’Up products. Their Halloween designer paper is just adorable. This 6×6 double sided paper, has 48 sheets with 8 different designs. I created to panel from the Designer Paper with the ghosts, which is a decoration on it’s own. I inked the borders with black and Blackberry Bliss in. The front panel was inked with the same Blackberry Bliss ink and Pumpkin Pie Classic ink, just to give it some spooky effect.

Here is a look at the open card.

The side panels have pumpkins and cats. I used a round scalloped die to cut them and use them as decorations.

The sentiment on the front panel comes from teh Cutest Halloween Stamp Set and the tag as well as the spider web comes from the Frightful Tag dies.

The written tutorial is in my Library and I will make a video tomorrow with an adaption.

I hope you enjoyed your day having fun and creating smiles!
