Altenew Educator Certification Projects

Hello friends! A while ago I was admitted to the Altenew Educator Certification Program, at the Altenew Academy. The program includes several levels, and each level has 7 courses. I was so happy when I got accepted to it, and I thought to myself, I will get this done in a jiffy…. lol well that didn’t happen as I had planned.

If you have been watching my videos, you know this past couple of months have been on the craziest side and I have not been able to keep up with the blog and YouTube channel… this means that my work towards the certification was also put on hold.

As the year comes to an end and life is starting to slow down, I want to focus on finishing at least the level and move forward with Level 2.

To pass each each class I have to make a card where you put into practice what has been learned and create a post. Instead of creating one single post per card, I am making a fun post that includes all the cards I made.

I am using Altenew products for the stamps and dies and Stampin’Up cardstock and inks.

This first card uses the layering technique, which I found out, I am not particularly good at! If you feel the same about layering, try using the stamparatus, a positioning tool tag works so well, you are not going to regret the investment.

Probably one of my favorite cards in this post is the one below. This card includes the following techniques heat embossing and using the inks to color the flowers. I love how this card turned out. I am submitting this card for the following courses Irresistible Inking Techniques and Let it shine.

You guys know how much I like little scenes and using my blending brushes to create backgrounds. The following card was made for the Scene building course and the Ink blending techniques. Isn’t this adorable?

Finally, we had to create a card for the guys…OH SO HARD! But I think I managed, lol. This card also uses the stenciling technique.

I would love to know what you think of this cards and which one is your favorite!

See you soon!

Maria
