Continuing with our exploration of step cards, I came across the five step cards. Thank you Iced Images for your beautiful cards These cards are so perfect to make someone’s day special. It allows us to use some scraps and play with Stampin’Up beautiful designers series paper. I made a video tutorial for you and as always, you will find a Free PDF tutorial to download below!
am using the Abstract Beauty Designer Series Paper, which is definitely one of my favorited from the new Mini Catalog. If you don’t have it… you need it. It is beautiful and cheerful at the same time, you don’t want to miss it. I am also using the Artistically Inked Bundle, which is in the retiring list, as a bundle; this is a good time to get it, and save 10%.
For this card, you will need:
- For base: cardstock in Night of Navy that measures 8″ x 10″
- Front:
- Center Panel
- 1 piece of Gold Foil measuring 1 7/8″ x 4 7/8″
- 1 piece of Designer Series Paper measuring 1 1/4″ x 4 3/4″
- Outside Panels
- 2 pieces of Gold Foil measuring 2 7/8″ x 1 3/8″
- 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper measuring 2 3/4″ x 1 1/4″
- for the back of the step:
- 2 pieces of Gold Foil measuring 1 7/8″ x 1 3/8″
- 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper measuring 1 3/4″ x 1 1/4″
- In the middle Panels
- 2 pieces of Gold Foil measuring 2 7/8″ x 1 3/8″
- Die cut leaves in Night of Navy
- for the back of the step:
- 2 pieces of Gold Foil measuring 1 3/8″ x 7/8″
- Lower Frontal panel
- 1 piece of Gold Foil measuring 1 7/8″ x 7 7/8″
- 1 piece of Basic white cardstock measuring 1 3/4″ x 7 3/4″
- you will also need some Basic white cardstock scraps for the stamped flowers and leaves.
- Center Panel

- Middle Panel

- Vertical:

- Outside Panels: In this case, both the horizontal and vertical panels measure the same.
