I finally got my Give it a whirl dies, and logically, I started playing with them right away. It is a super simple mechanism and if you would like more instructions on how to use it, I made a video tutorial in YouTube. Isn’t this adorable? You just turn the wheel and will get a different picture, in this case farm animals.
I used the Peekaboo Farm stamp set which is really adorable and I also used the Counting Sheep stamp and dies, from a previous Sale-A-Bration. As you can see, I used something called a Snow Marker that I got in Amazon. Super cute and easy to use. I happen to have an extra set of both and I am giving it away. To participate in this give away, all you have to do is got to the video here, comment and share it. GOOD LUCK!
I also used the Sunshine and Rainbows Designer series paper, which is free with your $50 purchase.
For this card, you will need a cardstock base that measure 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″, I used Bermuda Bay, as it matches the DSP, and it’s just such a happy color. The DSP piece measures 5-3/8 x 4-1/8. The rest of the pieces you will need are provided but the dies. This set includes 21 one dies, so not only what is needed for the mechanism but some extras for decoration. How awesome is that?
There are 3 main pieces needed for the mechanism: the large panel, the wheel and a “window”. The set gives you 4 different options for “windows”: a heart, a circle, a rectangle and a triangle ( it is not a triangle but I am not sure how to call that last form, LOL). You will also need a small brad, that you will put through the panel and the wheel. Please, check out my video tutorial, as I give you tips and suggestions.
I made 4 different cards to show the set versatility and cuteness!!! Let me know what you think. Let me know if you need a catalog. Send me an email to email@example.com
