Hello crafty friends! I have been having so much fun with the Sale-a-Bration (SAB) items, I can’t believe I get all these for FREE! So, I decided to create a new card with some of their products. Just to give you some cute ideas for your own crafting therapy. I will be using the Friendly Hello Bundle that is FREE with your $100 purchase. This bundle includes both the stamp set and the Designer Series Paper, which I have to say, is gorgeous. I colored the bird with some alcohol blend markers, in colors to match the paper.

This card will open and create a beautiful pop up that will give you tons of opportunity to get creative and have fun. I decided to create a garden with stamps and dies from our Merriest Moments set. This set is no longer available, but whatever stamps and set dies you have, will work. The Friendly Hello Bundle actually have some beautiful leaves I could have used, but I was in a lazy mood and used dies instead, LOL. I created a video tutorial for this card that you can access here. I got the idea from http://lesleysstampinground.blogspot.com/2020, while browsing Pinterest.

You will need:
- cardstock:
- 1 piece of 6″x 6″, scored at 3″ For the first sample I used Fresh Freesia for all pieces, which matches perfectly with the Friendly Hello Bundle, from SAB
- 1 piece of 7″x 1-1/2″, scored at 1/2″, 3-1/2″ and 6-1/2″
- 1 piece of 5″x 2-1/2″, scored at 1/2″, 2-1/2″ and 4-1/2″
- 2 pieces of 2-7/8″x 1-3/8″ in Basic Black
- DSP:
- 4 pieces of 2-7/8″ x 5-7/8″. As you can see for my cards, you can make them with the same pattern or use different patterns, for each panel.
- 2 pieces of 2-3/4″ x 1-1/4″
- 2 pieces of 1-7/8″ x 2-3/8″
Instructions:
I think it is easier to start decorating the front and the back. Take you 6″x6″ piece and score at 3″. Add the DSP panels and finish your front, because once you start working on the inside, the card will gain volume and it will be harder to work on the outside.
Now, let’s work on the inside of the card. Take the 7″ x 1-1/2″ piece and score at 1/2″, 3-1/2″ and 6-1/2″ and decorate it. I used basic black to create the mat (measurements are above), and then used 2 pieces of DSP, which are 1/8′ smaller. Now, I stamped and die cut several pieces of “greenery”, from the Merriest Moments set. Like I mentioned before, I was little lazy and didn’t want to fuzzy cut them, but the Friendly Hello Bundle has some beautiful leaves that you could use. I stamped them in the colors matching the paper: Fresh Freesia, Pool Party, Apple Granny Green and Shaded Spruce. I also used a few in darker tones: Highland Heather, Magenta Madness and Coastal Cabana. I put several of them in the back of the panel and used a few flowers from the Friendly Hello Bundle to place them on the front. Now, glue to 1/2″ flaps to the card base, towards the edge of the card. The next step is to put the big DSP pieces on the insides, which will cover the flaps. Let’s move on to the next piece, the one that measures 5″x 2-1/2″ and decorate it. In my case, I used the DSP and put some exert greenery and flowers on it. This piece goes above and inside the previous piece. (I hope that makes sense. If you have any doubts contact me at maria@mariascraftingcorner.com ) and you will glue it by the flaps, as we did with the previous one.
Here are 2 other cards I made using this fancy fold. The first one uses the DSP from Sale-a-Bration (SAB) called Sunshine and rainbows DSP and the Rainbow of happiness bundle.

And, finally a masculine card created with the Majestic Mountain Dies and Mountain Air stamp set, as well as Friends of the Forest.

Let me now which one you like the best! HAPPY STAMPING!!!
