And so the Journey begins… This will be ny first blog ever, so let me tell you a little about myself and what you can expect to see in this blog.

I am a wife, mom, psychologist and crafter. I have been married for 13 years to the love of my life and we raised 4 wonderful kids, now adults… but who is counting. For the last 23 years, I have been an avid crafter. It all started when my daughter was born, all those beautiful pictures of her couldn’t just go in a regular photo album; they needed something else: color texture and whimsical fun. That’s how I started my crafting life and I never look back. I love making wreaths, cards, scrapbook layouts, shirts and many other things. I have Cricut Maker which is an amazing tool and definitely a must when it comes to a crafter’s world. I like being able to make personalized gifts for family and friends with it.

Definitely, my passion is paper crafts. There is something about paper that reaches that part of my brain that has no limits…oh the things I can create: at least that is what I tell myself when really wanting that next paper collection. Have you been there? I really like scrapbooking and making cards. I have been focusing on making cards lately, as I like to imagine the recipients feelings, when getting a cute card made with love. I have been making cards for about 6 years now. I love the whole gamma of it: stamping, coloring, ink blending, masking (which I am not good at), and creating interactive cards. Some of my favorite companies have been Whimsy Stamps, Lawn Fawn and My Favorite Things.

Recently, I joined Stampin’Up as a demonstrator, because I have tried their products and they are really good. I like the fact that all their products are color coordinated and it takes some of the guess work away.
